We are thrilled to announce that New Frame Creative is opening a brand new multi-use storefront on the corner of Cedar Bluff Road and Middlebrook Pike. We’ll be next door to Einstein Brother’s Bagels!
As most of you know, New Frame Creative has operated for the past two years out of various coffeeshops and home offices. That has been great, and it has served us well thus far. As we’ve been working with more and more clients and the team has been growing, we’ve known for awhile now that we were going to eventually need some sort of office space.

SPOILER ALERT: not this kind of Office Space.

We knew what we didn’t want.  We didn’t want a traditional office in an out-of-the-way office park. We didn’t want an overpriced, tricked-out downtown office with no parking either. We wanted to be in a high foot-traffic area where it would be easy for our customers to find us.  We also knew that we wanted our space to have multiple uses.  We knew we wanted to do something different.

As many of you may know, our go-to location for meetings has been Einstein Brother’s bagels ever since we launched in 2015. Many of you have likely met us or seen one of us hunched over a laptop and a cup of coffee there.  One morning in October, we noticed the dry cleaners next door to Einstein’s had abruptly closed up shop and moved out.  Our wheels started spinning, and long story short: we knew we had to act!

We’ll start our build-out of the space on December 1st and our goal is to open sometime in late January or early February of 2018.

This is going to be the perfect location for the dreams we are dreaming. Here are just a few of the exciting things we have in mind:

Want to brush up your WordPress skills a little bit, or learn some helpful search engine optimization strategies? Maybe you would like to try pay-per-click advertising on Google or understand how Facebook paid campaigns work. We’re going to be offering monthly classes on a variety of topics, and our existing clients will be able to attend these at a very low cost. Even better, we’re going to be offering some of these opportunities before work with breakfast included (let’s just say we know a spot just next door).
Part of our new space is going to be used to create a small but versatile video studio for filming testimonial and interview videos. Many clients we work with have a need for simple, short, and professionally shot interview clips (either with staff and team members or with satisfied customers/clients). But we also find that most clients don’t utilize video very often. Why? It’s too expensive! Hiring a professional camera crew to come to your location is a half-day affair (minimum) and typically costs are going to start at around $1000. We know for most small businesses and nonprofts, that’s just not in the budget. We are going to create a space that will be flexible, well styled, well lit, perfectly framed, and ready to go. This will allow us to keep costs extremely affordable which means more of our clients will be able to afford to utilize highly effective videos into their marketing efforts.
With every website we build, training is included as a part of the price. Currently we either perform our training sessions in person at the client’s office or via Skype. We’ll still offer those options, but we wanted to have a really great “home base” for these training opportunities. We’ll have fast internet, a giant screen so we can easily train multiple people from your team, comfortable seating, and we’re just two doors down from Petro’s world famous orange iced tea!
If you find yourself with a broken car, you take it to a mechanic. Broken phone screen? You’re off to the Apple store. But what about a broken website? In our two years in business, we have discovered a great number of people have websites with minor to significant issues who don’t know where to turn for help. Maybe their original developer isn’t returning calls or emails… maybe their original developer isn’t even in business anymore. Maybe they decided to try a “DIY website” project and are stuck somewhere along the way. We want to provide a simple, friendly, non-judgmental help desk for website questions. We’ll have daily appointments available and will also have room for some walk-in clients as well.
In addition to all of these things, we want to be good stewards of the space we will be using. One of our dreams is that this might be a space that can be available for non-profit organizations to utilize for training classes, board meetings, and other events. We’ll have a centralized location in the heart of west Knoxville with room for 20-25 people. We look forward to uncovering ways this space can serve our community well.
To say that we are excited would be an understatement. We will let you know when the new space is ready to open. Our tentative plans are to host an all-day open house prior to our public launch.
More than anything else, we want to say THANK YOU to each one of you who have trusted us with your projects these past couple of years. While our work space may be changing, our commitment to doing excellent work and providing excellent customer service will never change. Our primary goal with this space is that it will allow us to serve you in new and better ways going forward.
